LOS ANGELES –
Amethyst Harper has officially inked a professional deal with Valencianas de Juncos in Juncos, Puerto Rico.
Valencianas de Juncos is one of seven teams in the Liga de Voleibol Superior Femenino (LVSF) professional league in Puerto Rico, beginning play late this month.
Harper left a lasting mark on LMU in her single season with the WCC. Starting in every match, she achieved 10+ kills in 10 games and a standout performance of 20 kills against Santa Clara in October.
In the 2023 season, she had a total of 237 kills and 286.5 points, maintaining an impressive hitting percentage of .583%. Harper's defensive contributions are notable, with 137 digs and 63 blocks to her name.
Harper received her Bachelor of Arts in communication studies; and this past season, she completed her certificate in Foundation of Management.
