WCC Announcement

LOS ANGELES – LMU men's golf has been chosen as the preseason favorites in the WCC the West Coast Conference announced on Thursday. LMU finished atop the preseason poll after receiving 49 points and all seven of the available first-place votes from the league's remaining head coaches.

Additionally, three Lions have been named to the Preseason All-WCC Team. Trevor Algya, Riley Lewis, and Tony Hendricks represent the Lions on the 10-member team. The trio of Lions helped lead LMU to three first-place tournament finishes in the fall and look to continue their stellar play in the spring.
 
The preseason poll and All-WCC team were selected solely by a vote of the Conference's eight head coaches. Coaches cannot vote for their own team or student-athletes.
 
LMU will return to competition at the end of the month at Omni Tucson National GC in Arizona.
