Renowned Mental Performance Coach Russ Rausch Joins LMU Men’s Basketball

LOS ANGELES – Entering his fourth season leading LMU men's basketball, Head Coach Stan Johnson has announced the addition of mental performance coach Russ Rausch to work with the program in the 2023-24. Rausch is a credentialed registered dietitian with experience working within college athletic departments.

"Russ comes to us with incredible experience in the NBA, NFL, and College Basketball," said Johnson. "He is without question, one of the premier mental skills trainer in the country. His expertise in this area will help our program close the gap between where we are currently, and what we aspire to be. This is not only an athletic investment, this has a chance to impact the lives of all those in our program way beyond the game."

Rausch is the Founder of Vision Pursue and an expert at mental training to improve life and performance. Russ works in both the corporate and sports worlds. In sports Russ has worked with the Miami Heat, Miami Dolphins, San Francisco 49ers, Atlanta Falcons, Las Vegas Raiders, Marquette University, and the University of Alabama. Before VP, Russ had 15 years of C-Level experience in the trading and technology industry.

Rausch will begin with the program immediately.
