SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The women's cross country team competed in the NCAA West Regional hosted by Sacramento State on Friday, November 10. The race took place at the Haggin Oaks Golf Course with the race beginning at 10:00 a.m. (PT). The women ran a strong race, finishing 31
st and exhibiting a 158 point improvement from last year's regional.
Hayden Washington led the way for the Lions once again, finishing 115
th overall. The sophomore has been the top finisher for LMU in each race she has competed in this season. She finished the 6K course in 21:22.8 and recorded a PR.
Rylee Guinn continued her impressive freshman campaign with a strong finish at the regional. She finished 161
st in the race in 22:04.5. Guinn was four seconds off her personal best in the 6K.
Lauren Wagner came in right behind Guinn at 22:06.5.

Kennedy Bartee finished up the scoring for the Lions in 210
th and 212
th respectively.
"We came up a bit short of our team goal but made massive steps forward as a program this season and have a lot to look forward to with such a young team. Great leadership by our seniors, who we will miss dearly - and props to our freshmen for stepping up as consistent scorers all season"
