LOS ANGELES – The LMU women's cross country team has been recognized as a USTFCCCA All-Academic team following an impressive 2025 season that showcased excellence both on the track and in the classroom.
The Lions crushed the academic requirements, posting a stellar 3.52 team GPA—well above the 3.0 threshold needed for the prestigious honor from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
The academic achievement caps off a standout fall campaign that saw LMU dominate the competition at the Master's Invitational in Santa Clarita and finish as runners-up at the Mark Covert Classic hosted by Cal State Fullerton.
The Lions will look to carry that momentum into spring competition when they kick off the season Saturday, February 28 at the Rossi Relays hosted by Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.
