LOS ANGELES, CA – The Loyola Marymount University Lions (9-18-1, 6-3 WCC) travel to Stockton, California for a three-game West Coast Conference series against the Pacific Tigers this weekend.
The Lions have taken four of the last five series against the Tigers including the last two of which were both played at Page Stadium.
First pitches are set for 6:00 p.m. on Friday, 3:00 p.m. on Saturday and 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. All three games will be broadcast on the WCC Network and links are available on the baseball schedule page at

LMU has won two of their first three conference series and sit tied for second in the WCC standings.
The Lions duo of
Diego Baqueiro and
Jared Thomas have provided tons of production at the plate against WCC pitchers. Both are batting .324 in conference with 12 hits apiece while Thomas has the advantage in home runs at two to Baqueiro's one.
Additionally,
Benny Casillas has made the most of his time at the plate in conference. He leads the team in batting average at .395 and hits with 15 and enters the weekend on a four game hitting streak.
On the mound LMU will give the ball to
Diego Barrera to start the series on Friday while
Matt McClure will get the nod on Saturday and
Quinn Lavelle will wrap it up on Sunday.
The bullpen has provided the Lions with solid relief.
Merrick Baldo has been tough on opposing hitters and
Alex Burge enters the weekend with a conference ERA of 1.93.
Following the weekend LMU will continue their season long 10-game road trip with a stop in Irvine to face the Anteaters on Tuesday, April 12.
