LOS ANGELES – LMU women's volleyball outside hitter, Kari Geissberger, was just named to the Honorable Mention Team by the American Volleyball Coaches Association.
 
Geissberger led the Lions in the 2022 season with 343 kills. Twenty-two of those kills were against the San Diego Toreros on Nov. 17. 
 
Geissberger also finished the season with 434.5 points with her most points also coming from the Nov. 17 match against the Toreros.
 
In the WCC, Geissberger is ranked 7^th in kills, 8^th in kills per set and 5^th in blocks per set.
 
On top of being awarded AVCA Honorable Mention Team, Geissberger made the AVCA All-Region Team, All-WCC First Team and the WCC Preseason Team this season.
