Women's Cross Country Release
SAN BRUNO, CALIF. – Five Loyola Marymount University Lions women's cross country student-athletes received 2020-21 West Coast Conference All-Academic accolades, it was announced today.
Rebecca Collins,
Avery Doan,
Raina Hines,
Ann Kelly, and
Dani Rowlinson received WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention for the Lion women.
"I am so proud of the way this team responded to the many challenges that were thrown our way over the past year," said women's cross country and track and field head coach
Chloe Curtis. "Maintaining above a 3.2 GPA at such a high level university is no easy feat, especially while competing in both Cross Country and Track during the same season, in the midst of a global pandemic. The future is bright for these young women."
At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an All-Academic squad for each WCC sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to his or her team.
