LOS ANGELES – The Loyola Marymount University Lions (11-19, 4-8 WCC) head north to Oregon for a three-game weekend series against the Portland Pilots as they venture back into West Coast Conference play.
The Lions are coming off a series win over San Diego and are looking to build momentum in Portland. LMU will look for their fifth series win in six opportunities against the Pilots and back-to-back WCC series wins.
LMU has been getting production from up and down the lineup for head coach

Kenny Oyama, currently leading the team in batting average at .342, has been a constant threat at the plate for the Lions.
In addition to leading the team in average Oyama is also the pace setter in on base percentage at .424, hits with 39, runs scored at 16, doubles with nine, stolen bases at nine, and total bases with 50. His nine doubles put him fifth in the WCC in that category and he's third in the conference in stolen bases.
Another Lion having a solid year is
Julian Bury who's currently sitting at second in batting average at .331 and RBIs with 17 and has been a constant fixture on the bases.
On the mound the Lions have been getting solid production from
Josh Agnew who's leading the team in wins with three and posts and ERA of 3.20 which is second best for LMU.
Another Lion posting strong numbers on the mound is
Holden Christian. He currently leads the team in ERA at 0.00 to go along with being the Lions pace setter in batters struck out at 30, holding opposing teams to a batting average of .106 and has only allowed seven hits all season when the ball is in his hands.
