Dameane Douglas opened the scoring with a layup in the first minute of play off an Eli Scott assist. Douglas would go for nine first half points to lead the team and Scott would lead in assists with a quartet of assists.

Kwane Marble II extended LMU's lead to 10-6 with a knock-down triple. The Wolf Pack responded with a 7-0 run to take their first lead of the half, 13-10.
