Biography

BRIEFLY… Kwane Marble completed his second season at LMU in 2022-23 after transferring from Wyoming prior to the 2021-22 season.
 
IN 2022-23 • SENIOR…  Played the final 24 games of the season after missing the first seven non-conference games due to an offseason injury… Started the final three games of the season including in the WCC Tournament… Scored in double-digits in two games over the final four with 10 points against #13 Gonzaga (2/16/23) and a season-high 11 points against BYU (3/4/23) in the quarterfinals on the WCC Tournament… Scored 35 total points over the final four games of the season.
 
IN 2021-22 • JUNIOR…  Played in all 29 games, making nine starts in his first season at LMU and playing 18.8 minutes per game… Averaged 4.9 points on the season including three double-digit scoring performances on the year… Scored double-figures in back-to-back conference wins with 15 points against Portland (1/17/22) and 10 points against Pepperdine (1/17/22)… Scored a season-high 19 points on 7-for-9 shooting in his first WCC Tournament game against Pacific (3/3/22)… Opened the year with a season-high eight rebounds against eventual NCAA Tournament team Chattanooga (11/9/21).

2020-21 • SOPHOMORE: Marble played in 23 games, making 13 starts including 12 of the final 14 games… Averaged 22.9 minutes per game… Fifth on the team with 9.5 points per game, and added 4.1 assists per game to finish second on the Pokes… Scored in double figures on nine different occasions… Shot 45.6 percent from the field… Scored a season-high 17 points off the bench against Omaha (Dec. 17) on 6-for-10 shooting… Had a stretch of six double-digit scoring performances over a seven-game span in Mountain West Conference play… Recorded a 12 point and 12 rebound double-double in a season-high 33 minutes at New Mexico.
 
2019-20 • FRESHMAN: Marble burst onto the scene as a true freshman… Marble II earned a spot on the Mountain West All-Tournament Team… He appeared in 27 games with 11 starts… He ranked third on the team averaging 8.2 points per game… He also added 2.8 rebounds per game and 1.04 assists per night… Marble II shot 48 percent from the field… He also shot 36 percent from behind the arc and 76 percent from the free throw line… He also finished the season adding just over one steal per game… He scored in double-figures 11 times including in all three MW Tournament games… He scored a career-high 24 points against Nevada in the quarterfinals of the tournament. In that game he hit a career-high nine field goals… He added 20 points in the previous game against Colorado State, as he helped the Pokes become the first No. 11 seed to win a tournament game. He recorded a career-high four triples in the contest… Marble added 19.7 points per game during the tournament for the Pokes… He recorded a career-high nine rebounds for the Pokes in a contest at Nevada.

High School: Marble II, a 6-6 guard from Denver, Colo. wrapped up his senior season at Denver East High School… He earned Honorable Mention All-State honors by Max Preps… He was a four-time Denver Public Schools All-Conference selection… Marble averaged 19 points per game to go along with 4.6 rebounds and 3.2 rebounds per night… He finished his career with over 1,000 points… An excellent defender, Marble added three steals per game and 0.7 blocks per game.
