Jacob Jackson has been named the WCC Defensive Player of the Week. Jackson previously earned the recognition during the weeks of September 20 and 27.
Jackson helped keep the Lions in a position to complete a thrilling win on Sunday over San Francisco. The redshirt junior recorded his seventh shutout of the season making one save in the process. With the clean sheet, Jackson finished the weekend ranked as the conference leader in goals against average, save percentage, saves per game, shutouts, and goalie minutes played.
The Lions have one final game on their schedule. A senior night matchup against Santa Clara at Sullivan Field.
