Los Angeles - Loyola Marymount University Spirit Squad has announced their rosters for the 2020-21 Cheer and Dance teams.
Virtual auditions were held for both teams and after receiving an abundance of highly talented athletes, the coaches, alongside outside judges selected an incredible representation of the LMU student community and athletics.
"We are very excited about this group of young women to represent the university and athletics," said head coach
Nicole Martin. "We had the largest number of candidates submit videos to be considered for this year's team, then we've had in previous years. Each candidate was provided material to learn and other required elements to submit in video format in order to be considered for the team."
New for the 2020-21 season is an executive leadership structure. This will allow veterans and new members an opportunity to take charge of the overall operations and development of the program. These areas range from fundraising and public relations, to team building and squad leadership.
