We are excited to announce a new program brought to you by the Loyola Marymount University Athletics Spirit Squad, the Junior Lions Spirit Squad! Your child will wear an authentic LMU uniform with their very own pair of pom poms, attend cheer and dance practices and perform alongside LMU Cheer and Dance in Gersten Pavilion at a Volleyball match as well as a Men's Basketball Game and Women's Basketball Game.
 
The Junior Lions Program will be capped at 100 participants. If you would like to keep siblings/friends together you can, just make sure to add that to the special requests section when you register.
 
The uniform the Junior Lions will receive is a custom designed Junior Lions uniform. Next year when you re-register, and don't need a new uniform you will receive a discount on registration.
 
Junior Lions Spirit Squad Cost:
The program fee is $275 per child. This fee covers everything listed below.

• LMU Lions Official Cheer Uniform (long sleeve shell, skirt, & briefs)
• Authentic LMU Pom Poms
• Hair Bow
• Participant Game Ticket to Volleyball, Men's Basketball and Women's Basketball*
• Three clinics to learn routines and sideline cheers taught by LMU Cheerleaders and Dancers along with other Cheer Technique
• Three game performances (one in November, December and February)

 
We will only sell the Junior Lions Program from July 8 until August 14 to ensure we can order uniforms in time for our performances. If you do not make the cut off, be sure to put it on your calendar for next year.
 
*Spectator tickets can be purchased $5 for LMU Volleyball, $8 for Men's Basketball and $5 for women's basketball
 
Junior Lions Schedule:
All practices will be held at LMU (1 LMU Drive Los Angeles, CA 90045). Please wear comfortable clothing, sneakers, and bring a water bottle, as we will be working hard while having fun. 
 
Practices are scheduled for the following dates:

• One week prior to scheduled games

Performance Schedule:
The three performances are included in the one in the fall, one in the winter and one in the spring. Your child will perform at the following LMU Athletic Events:

• Volleyball performance vs. Saturday November 16
  • Performance pre-game and on sidelines with team for the game
• Men's Basketball TBD
  • Performance at halftime 
  • Game will be on a Saturday in Nov/Dec
• Women's Basketball TBD
  • Performance will be at halftime
  • Game will be on a Saturday in February 

Uniform Sizing Guide (Female & Male)
Sizes are Youth Small – Adult Large. You will be fitted at your first Junior Lions Meeting or you can send sizing to Head Coach.
 
Uniforms will be a custom designed Junior Lions uniform.
All participants will need white tennis shoes for performances.
