2020 Schedule
 
The Loyola Marymount University Lions Men's and Women's Track and Field teams open up the 2020 season on Saturday, Feb. 15 with the Pomona-Pitzer All-Comers Meet on the campus of Pomona College. Next, the Lions head to San Jose to face multiple conference rivals at the West Coast Invitational on Feb. 22.
 
Returning to the track for the men's team is redshirt senior Koby Pederson, who made an appearance at the NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships in 2018 and holds the 10k Cross Country school record ahead of All-American Weston Strum. Pederson will look to qualify for his first National Championship on the track in his final season as a Lion.
 
Junior transfer Samantha Barajas, who represented LMU for the first time at the BU Season Opener Indoor meet in December, will open up her outdoor track season on Feb. 15 in the 3,000m. Senior Hannah Wohlenberg an junior Dani Rowlinson, who boast personal bests of 9:56 and 10:09, respectively, will also make their debuts in the 3,000m. 
 
March and April will be busy months for the Lions, with six weekends of competition scheduled.  Highlights include the Oxy Distance Carnival Classic in Eagle Rock on Mar. 14, The Stanford Invitational on Apr. 3, and the Mt. Sac Relays Apr. 16-17.

The schedule concludes with three dates in May before the NCAA West Regionals, the first one taking place on the campus of UC Irvine for the Steve Scott Invitational on May 1-2 followed by the Portland Twilight at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon on May 7 and the Oxy Invitational in Eagle Rock on May 9.

The NCAA West Regionals will be held in Lawrence, Kansas May 28-30 followed by the NCAA Outdoor Championships June 10-13 in Austin, Texas.
