FINAL RESULTS
ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Both the Lions and each of the top two LMU finishers rose in the field on Saturday's final round of the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate. As a team, LMU shot their lowest three-round total of the young season, finishing at 11-over, 293-386-296—875.
"This event is a big tournament for us to build off of," said Head Coach
Jason D'Amore. "This was a tough course and a great field.
Gavin Cohen jumped five spots to tie for sixth in the 92 player field. Cohen shot par or better for all three rounds of the tournament, totaling 69-72-70—211.
Jumping 17 spots to tie for 30
th,
Kyle Kinnane finished at par in his final round with a 76-73-72—221, and tying with
Mason Glinski (75-70-76—221) overall.
Rounding out the four to score for LMU was
Raymond Navis who finished tied for 36
th with a 73-71-78—222.
In three rounds,
Cameron Meeks shot a 76-76—79—231 to close out the LMU five.
As a team, the Lions finished with five eagles, the most of the tournament. Cohen and Glinski each recorded a pair, with Kinnane adding one as well.
LMU returns to action Oct. 7-8 for Cal's Alister Mackenzie Invitational from Fairfax, Calif.
