SAN BRUNO, Calif., -- The Loyola Marymount women's basketball conference schedule has been released by the West Coast Conference on Tuesday, with conference play beginning on December 28. 
 
The Lions will open conference play at home in Gersten Pavilion against BYU on Thursday the 28, and will conclude the opening weekend of conference play against San Diego Saturday December 30. 
 
LMU will take its first conference road trip the following week when the team will head up north to take on Pacific and Saint Mary's. 
 
The Lions will have two Thursday byes when they take on PCH Rivals Pepperdine. The first PCH Cup game will be at Pepperdine on January 18. 
 
Games against Gonzaga and Portland will conclude conference play at home, while the Lions will conclude their regular season on the road against BYU and USD on February 27 and February 29. 
 
The Lions will conclude their season at the WCC Championships in Las Vegas, Nev. at the Orleans Arena from March 5-10. 
 
Game times will be announced at a later date, along with the release of the non-conference schedule. Season tickets are now on sale.
