LOS ANGELES, Calif., -- Loyola Marymount's Chelsey Gipson has been named to the West Coast Conference All-Conference First Team, while Bree Alford was named honorable mention, announced by the conference on Tuesday. 
 
Gipson was named to the 10-person roster after putting together 427 total points during the regular season for the Lions. All season, the sophomore was one of the conference's leaders in scoring, as she averaged 18.4 points a game in conference play.
 
Gipson was also a team and conference leader in three-point field goals made, as she shot .402 percent from behind the arch. The Los Angeles, Calif. native scored her career high in points against Pepperdine with 29. 
 
This is Alford's second Honorable Mention Team Selection, which she earns after she led the Lions and the conference in rebounds this season with a total of 281, becoming LMU's All-Time Rebounder with a career total of 982. 
 
The senior marked her career high in rebounds against Pacific with 20. The Walnut Creek, Calif. native is a conference leader in double-doubles, as she has had seven this season, while tallying 247 points for the Lions. 
 
Gipson, Alford and the rest of the Lions finished their regular season 17-13 and 10-8 in conference play, securing the No. 5 seed and will kick off their first game of the tournament on Friday.
