Senior
Abby Chopp became the second LMU swimmer to win a conference event following
Isabel Willis' first place win in the 200 Freestyle on Friday. Chopp sprinted to victory in the 100 individual medley after qualifying forth in the morning prelims. Her final time of 58.98 was a new LMU program record. Chopp was joined in the 100 IM championship final by fellow senior,
Marley Abbott who placed seventh in 1:00.78. Sophomore
Serena Myatt, junior
Gabby Carufel and sophomore
Anna Gasiorowski, also scored placing 13th, 17th and 20th overall with personal best times of 1:02.48, 1:03.58 and 1:04.97.

Saturday's Finals began with a ceremony honoring the seniors from all twelve conference teams including eight from LMU. Abbott,
Lauren Akin, Chopp,
Savanna Kim,
Keara Reilly,
Nicole Schiel,
Mary Schell and Willis. Reilly and Akin then took the blocks to race in the 1650 freestyle final. Reilly finished her career with a personal best time of 17:42.27, taking second place in the mile-long swim with Akin placing ninth with a time of 18:03.05.

In the second event of the evening, Chopp led a trio of Lions in the 200 backstroke touching the wall in seventh place with a 2:08.49, followed by sophomore
Audrey Hixon in 14th with a season best of 2:09.38 and junior Carufel in 22nd with a 2:13.34.

Willis got her hand on the wall first in the consolation final of the 100 freestyle placing ninth with a personal best time of 52.75. Junior
Natalie Morlock picked up a point for the team, placing 24th in 54.65. Â Â

Next on the program was the 200 breaststroke where senior
Mary Schell swam to a season best time of 2:32.96 placing 13
th while freshman
Lydia Zicker placed 16
th in 2:35.35.

LMU fielded a strong quartet in the 200 Butterfly final with junior
Olivia Nielsen leading the group with an 8
th place finish in the championship final.Â
Taylor Pajunen and
Christine Chan followed in the B Final placing 11th and 13th with season best times of 2:11.99 and 2:12.62. Freshman
Sabine Caplin also scored points for the team finishing 22nd. Â

In the final event of the meet, all eight seniors took to the blocks one last time to race in the 400 freestyle relay. The four seniors on the A Relay, Willis, Reilly, Akin and Abbott, race to a seventh place finish while the B Relay with Schell, Chopp, Schiel and Kim, came in 17th. LMU finished in sixth place in the team standings with 787 points with Cal State East Bay taking the women's team title with 1306 points.Â
