A 2015 graduate of Ann Sobrato High School in Morgan Hill, Calif... four-year varsity letter winner swimming for April Roland... served as team captain in her senior year... a CCS qualifier all four years, she was a CCS finalist in her final campaign... left high school as the school record holder in the 200 and 400 freestyle, and a member of the record-setting 200 medley and 200 freestyle relay teams... competed for Quicksilver Swimming from 2011 until entering LMU, setting multiple distance records and earning a Far Western Championship in the 1650 freestyle...

Lauren Anne Akin was born on August 7, 1997 in Morgan Hill, Calif... parents are Dolores and William Akin... has two brothers, Garrett and Matthew... chose LMU because it is a great school with a high educational experience and small class sizes... a biology major.
