USTFCCCA Release

The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association recognized both the men's and women's cross country teams as well as senior Koby Pederson with All-Academic Honors.

Overall, there were 427 teams that earned All-Academic distinction with head coach Scott Guerrero's LMU men's team getting the honor with a 3.41 GPA and the women's team with a 3.36 GPA. Pederson, a marketing major, was the only Lion recognized for an individual All-Academic Award honor.

There were 267 student-athletes who earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors. In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top-25 (or 10 percent) at the NCAA Regional Championships or as an All-American at the NCAA Championships.
