Ran in two track meets on the year … posted the top time in the Nation for the 2020 season in the 1500m with his 3:52.62 performance at the West Coast Invitational on 2/22… ….posted two Top-2 finishes during the track season … netted a second place finish in the 3000 meters at the Pomona-Pitzer Collegiate All Comers on 2/15 …
2018-19 (Senior)
Ran in five cross country races … became the first-ever male competitor in LMU history to participate in the NCAA Cross Country Championships … competed in the 10000 meters at the NCAA Division I West Region Cross Country Championships, breaking a school record at 29:44.1 and tied LMU’s highest individual Regional finish in history with his third place result …
2017-18 (Junior)
Competed in six cross country races and seven track meets … had eight Top-25 finishes on the year … finished in 24th
place in the 8k at 24:52.8 at the Capital Cross Challenge on 9/30 … posted a sixth place finish in the 5000 meters at 14:37.84 at the Jim Bush / Bob Larsen Invitational on 3/31 … finished in first place in the 1500 meters at 3:49.58 at the Steve Scott Invitational on 4/27 …
2016-17 (Sophomore)
2016 Men’s Cross Country WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention … Competed in six cross country races … Placed third at the Mark Covert Classic at 25:18.2 (Sept. 3) and at the WCC Preview with a time of 25:42.0 (Sept. 17) ... Recipient of the Jordan and Stella Olivar Memorial Endowed Scholarship.
2015-16 (Freshman)
In cross country... standout rookie season for the Lions... competed in six meets... season best 8k time was 24:09.1 at the Santa Clara Invitational (Oct. 17)... was LMU's top finisher in the meet, placing eighth overall... placed 28th overall at the West Coast Conference Championships (Oct. 31)... was the Lions' second best finisher in 26:05.9... was once again LMU's top finisher at the NCAA West Regional, placing 80th overall on the 10k course in 32:41.7.

Three-sport athlete at Alta Loma High School... competed in cross country, track and soccer... was a second team All-Baseline League selection in her one varsity soccer season... team went undefeated in league play, giving up just three goals and winning the league title... two-year varsity letterwinner in cross country... named team MVP as a senior in 2014... also named Mt. Koby Wayne Pederson was born Aug. 27, 1997 in Pomona, Calif.... parents are Mark and Nicole Pederson... has one younger sister, Shay... has volunteered with Project Earth (raising money at school to ornate to the charity), Miles for Montclair (5k walk to raise money for homeless teens), Living History Garden in Upland (helped maintain the local garden), Brave Academy (math tutor) and Alta Loma Little League Challengers (helped special needs children play baseball)...
