WCC Release
 
The West Coast Conference announced the 2019 WCC Men's Soccer All-Academic Team and Honorable Mention list on Tuesday, which featured four members of the Loyola Marymount University Lions men's soccer team. 
 
Senior Nick Dauchot was named to the 2019 WCC All-Academic Team after posting a 3.58 GPA majoring in Finance. Dauchot was the defensive leader for the Lions and started in all 14 games he participated in and was responsible for three shots with one on goal, two assists and two points. 
 
Senior Brandon Sanchez, junior Francis Avoce and redshirt sophomore Leo Zulli earned WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention for their contributions both on and off the field in 2019. 
 
At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average while also being a significant contributor to their team.
This season, 26 honorees turned in a GPA of 3.50 or higher and nine posted a 3.75 GPA or better.
