2019 All-WCC Soccer Teams
Freshman Midfielder
Noel Caliskan headlines a group of five Loyola Marymount soccer players who earned All-West Coast Conference honors on Tuesday. Caliskan took home Freshman of the Year, becoming the fourth Lion to capture the award, the first since Pedro Velazquez took home the honor in 2012.
While Caliskan captured the Freshman of the Year award, Saint Mary's took home four of the five awards in Co-Player of the Year Anders Engebretsen, Goalkeeper of the Year Remi Prieur, Defensive Player of the Year Filippo Zattarin and Coach of the Year Adam Cooper while San Diego's Miguel Berry was also named Co-Player of the Year.
All five individual awards, including the All-Conference Teams, were voted on solely by the WCC's eight head coaches.

Bastien Oberli was recognized by the conference with his selection to the All-WCC First Team while Caliskan and forward
Jack Sauls were tabbed for the All-WCC Second Team. Goalkeeper
Jacob Jackson and forward
Duhaney Williams were named to the WCC Honorable Mention team while Caliskan was also picked to be a member of the All-WCC Freshman Team.
Caliskan appeared in 19 games for the Lions and saw 1622 minutes of action on the pitch for head coach
Paul Krumpe's team and was a difference maker as soon as he put on the uniform.
Oberli, the sole Lion to appear on the All-WCC First Team, tied for the team lead in goals with four and has seen 723 minutes of action while appearing in 14 games for LMU. Sauls earned a spot on the All-WCC Second Team and is one of four Lions tied for the team lead in goals and is also responsible for two assists and 10 points on the year.
Jackson is having a stellar year for the Lions and is responsible for nine shutouts on the year in addition to three in his five WCC games played. Jackson ranked second in the WCC in both save percentage at 0.783 and shutouts.
Williams is also tied for the team lead in goals and is responsible for 11 points, three assists to go along with 31 shots, 14 on goal, in 939 minutes on the year.
Follow along as LMU will open the 2019 NCAA Tournament at home this Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. when they play Seattle University at Sullivan Field. The winner of Thursday night's match will move on to face the seventh-seeded Stanford Cardinal on Sunday, Nov. 24.
