Women's Meet Results
The Loyola Marymount University Lions men's and women's cross country teams headed north for a return trip to Colfax, Washington for the NCAA West Regional Championships last Friday, November 15th. The Championships were hosted by Washington State University at Colfax Golf Club.

Roc Johnson rose to the occasion by setting new personal records at Regionals.
"Dani and Roc both saved their best performances for the last meet of the season, setting significant personal bests in less than ideal conditions," said head coach
Scott Guerrero. "While we did not have our best day as a team, our young squad walked away with valuable lessons that will make them hungry for next year."
In the last cross country race in an LMU jersey,
Kyla Danforth was the first Lion to cross the finish line on the women's side with a time of 21:23.9. Rowlinson was not far behind, posting a new personal best time of 21:45.2, which takes 16 seconds off her previous PB.
Hannah Wohlenberg was the next Lion to finish, running 22:18.3 while
Ann Kelly came in next for LMU at 22:24.0.
Avery Doan came in at a time of 22:54.2 and
Raina Hines finished in 23:11. As a team, the Lions women placed 26th
overall.
On the men's side Johnson's personal best time of 32:00.3 paced the Lions as he was the first runner for LMU to cross the finish line. Johnson was followed by
Zach Arias who posted a time of 32:06.6, followed by
Joseph Garcia who crossed the line at 32:21.1.
Simeon Paul followed in a time of 32:26.0, rounding out the top five finishers for LMU was
Kyle Friedler who posted a time of 32:33.9. As a team, the Lions men finished 23rd
overall.
