LMU swim ventured to "The Last Frontier" over the weekend and split their two-day dual meet with the Nanooks. The Lions dropped the first meet 108-97 but managed to get back on track for the second day's meet posting a 110-94 victory.

Day 1
Lanna Kozlowski won the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 10:53.36 besting Alaska's Cassidy Heaton who posted a time of 10:59.38. Rounding out the top five for the Lions were
Lauren Akin and Sabine Caplan who posted times of 11:09.48 and 11:55.66 respectively.

The day's third event, the 200-yard freestyle, was taken by LMU's
Isabel Willis who swam a time of 1:56.75, which was the best among the three Lions who placed in the top five.
Audrey Hixon (2:04.03) and
Natalie Morlock (2:04.34) placed third and fourth in the event.

Willis wasn't done in the winner's circle for the days first meet as she took the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 54:24, leading fellow Lions
Serena Myatt (57:04) and Morlock (57:16).

The day's final meet was the 200-yard freestyle relay which saw the Lions 'A Team' of Willis,
Serena Myatt,
Marley Abbott and
Abby Chopp win with a time of 1:42.21 besting LMU's 'B Team' lead by
Samantha Smith,
Gabby Carufel,
Lauren Akin and
Anna Gasiorowski's time of 1:48.95.

Day Two
LMU's
Keara Reilly took the 1650-yard freestyle with a time of 18:07.73 to get the Lions back in the win column. She was joined by fellow Lions
Christine Chan (18:58.51) and
Taylor Pajunen (19:44.89).

Isabel Willis continued her winning ways on day-two by taking the 200-yard freestyle by posting a time of 1:56.95, which bested Alaska's Oda Bydgnes time of 1:58.65.

Lanna Kozlowski pulled off a pair of wins for the Lions on Saturday as she won both the 400-yard individual medley and 500-yard freestyle. She posted a time of 4:45.98 in the IM where she was accompanied by fellow Lions
Christine Chan (4:52.06) and
Lydia Zicker (5:02.33) who came in third and fifth place. Kozlowski's time of 5:17.96 in the freestyle nudged the Nanooks Cassidy Heaton's time of 5:19.73 and fellow Lion
Keara Reilly (5:25.56) who finished in second and third place.

The two-day meet saw the Lions succeed in the water but LMU won't be able to savior any of those victories as they return back to competition in seven days when San Diego State pays a visit to the Burns Aquatics Center on Saturday, February 2 at noon.
