LOS ANGELES – The Loyola Marymount women's basketball team has announced its 2018-19 conference schedule today in conjunction with the West Coast Conference. The WCC slate spans over 10 weeks and operates in a double round-robin format with 18 games. Conference action begins on Saturday, Dec. 29 and concludes on Saturday, March 2.
 
The Lions begin conference play at home vs. reigning WCC regular season and tournament champion Gonzaga (Dec. 29) and then host Portland at Gersten Pavilion on Dec. 31 before heading out on the road. LMU travels to San Diego (Jan. 3) and BYU (Jan. 5) to open January games and will then return home to face San Francisco (Jan. 10) and Santa Clara (Jan. 12).

The first PCH Cup rivalry game of 2018-19 will take place at Pepperdine on Jan. 19 as part of three straight road contests for the Lions along with Pacific (Jan. 24) and Saint Mary's (Jan. 26). LMU will finish out January and open up February at Gersten vs. BYU (Jan. 31) and San Diego (Feb. 2) and then hit the road once again at Santa Clara (Feb. 7) and San Francisco (Feb. 9).

Pepperdine and LMU will square off for a second time Feb. 16 on the bluff and the Lions will host their final two home contests against Saint Mary's (Feb. 21) and Pacific (Feb. 23) before rounding out the regular season on the road at Portland (Feb. 28) and Gonzaga (March 2).
 
The 2018 West Coast Conference Basketball Championships will take place from March 7-12 at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.
