The LMU men's tennis team (7-2) extended its win streak to four matches on Saturday afternoon, defeating Northern Arizona (2-6), 6-1, from the LMU Tennis Center.

The Lions cruised to the doubles point, dropping just one game across courts two and three. Lucas Moreno/Charles Boyce and Errol Smith/Diego Nava posted the victories that handed LMU the 1-0 advantage headed into singles play.

All six singles courts were decided in straight sets, as LMU captured wins in every spot outside of court two. Playing at #5 and #6 in the order, Nick Borchenko and Diego Nava extended win streaks to seven and five matches, respectively. Gabriel Diaz Freire, Errol Smith and Charles Boyce also won matches, with Diaz Freire topping Tim Handel, 7-6 (4), 7-5 at the top of the order. Smith and Boyce each captured convincing victories, with Smith beating Thomas Fisher, 6-1, 6-4, and Boyce topping Felix Schumann, 6-1, 6-1.

LMU will return to action on March 7 when it travels to Newport Beach to meet UC Irvine at 9 a.m.
