LOS ANGELES - Loyola Marymount women's tennis has received an NLI from the WTA #626 player, Veronica Miroshnichenko, to join the Lions for the fall. The Russian international recently won two tournaments in Eqypt and Serbia.

"(Head Coach) Agustin Moreno and I are super excited about adding Veronica," said Assistant Coach Katie Vasenina Bercume. "She's played great tennis this last year and we are excited to have her on campus."

Miroshnichenko has continued to rise in the rankings since the end of the 2016 year in both singles and doubles, jumping over 270 positions on the singles side.
