Lions Shine On and Off the Court with WCC Academic Honors

LOS ANGELES — The West Coast Conference recognized four LMU women's tennis student-athletes for their academic achievements, earning spots on the 2024 WCC Women's Tennis All-Academic Team.

Fiona Arrese and Isabella Tcherkes-Zade were named to the All-Academic Team, while Stefania Rogozinska-Dzik and Kim-Michaela Zahraj earned Honorable Mention honors.

This marks the first All-Academic Team selection for both Arrese and Tcherkes-Zade. Tcherkes-Zade had previously received Honorable Mention recognition in 2022 and 2023.

Rogozinska-Dzik also picks up her third consecutive Honorable Mention, having earned the same distinction the past two years. This is Zahraj's first time being named on the Honorable Mention list.

To be nominated for the all-academic team, athletes must maintain a 3.2 GPA, be a starter or important reserve, hold a sophomore standing, and participate in at least 50 percent of the team's athletic contests.
