PROVO, Utah - Riley Elmes highlighted Loyola Marymount's performance a the 2017 West Coast Conference Championship. Elmes led the team with his 68-72-70-210 performance to place fourth overall.
"Senior Blake Meek finished strong birdieing three of his last five holes," said Head Coach Jason D'Amore. "Riley had a top-five performance that earned him All-WCC honors."
As a team, LMU (286-293-286-865) tied with San Francisco (290-297-278-865) for sixth overall. Brigham Young won the team title on their home course with a 279-280-281-840. Pepperdine (286-278-283-847) and St. Mary's (283-288-281-852) round out the top three.
Elmes only trailed San Francisco's Tim Widing (70-70-68-208) by two strokes. With a tie at the top, BYU's Peter Kuest (70-67-68-205) and Santa Clara's Hayden Shieh (67-70-68-205) took the individual crowns.
Blake Meek earned another top-20 finish in his final performance for LMU. The senior shot 75-72-70-217 to close out his LMU career.
Mason Glinski (76-74-72-222) and Billy Pollock (69-79-74-222) tied for 34th with Nick Jan closing out the LMU roster with a 74.
