LOS ANGELES - As conference play winds down, the Loyola Marymount women's tennis prepares for his final road trip of the regular season. The Lions (10-7, 2-3 WCC) travel to San Diego (8-10, 4-1) on Thursday and play at BYU (7-9, 2-2 WCC) on Saturday.
LMU is coming off a split last week and will play a Toreros team that is tied for second in conference play at 4-1 this season. USD had its three match win streak snapped Saturday in a road loss to Saint Mary's, but returns home where they have a winning record on the season.
The Cougars have won four of their last five matches, but did go 1-0 with a rainout this past weekend. BYU's match at Saint Mary's was unable to be played and the match the following day at Pacific was limited to singles only because of the weather.
Leading the way for the Lions last week was Camila Tumosa, who went 3-0 in singles. The LMU freshman took care of all three of her opponents without allowing them to get higher than two games in any set, and did not give up a single game on the No. 4 court against UC Riverside.
