LOS ANGELES - The Loyola Marymount men's tennis team has concluded its nonconference slate and now shifts its focus to West Coast Conference opponents for the remainder of the season.
The Lions (4-10, 0-1) did open the spring with a WCC match at Pepperdine, but have played the last 13 out of conference. On Saturday, LMU hosts Saint Mary's (5-6, 0-1) for a noon match. The Gaels will be coming from Malibu the day before.
Pacific (8-9, 1-1) closes out the weekend Sunday at the LMU Tennis Center, the day after their match with Pepperdine as well. The match against the Tigers is set to begin at 1 p.m.
LMU swept the two schools in the first two days of April last season. After topping Pacific 4-3 in Stockton, the Lions won 4-0 the following day over Saint Mary's in Moraga.
