LOS ANGELES â€" Despite falling behind early in Wednesday's match, the Loyola Marymount men's tennis team battled until the end, ultimately losing 4-3. The Lions (4-9) split the three singles courts with Lamar (9-5) after dropping the doubles point.

Nick Borchenko fought back in his second set to take the singles point on the top court. Luke Bohuslav controlled the No. 4 singles court, and Gabriel Diaz Freire finished out the match with a tiebreaker win.
