CHICAGO - LMU women's basketball signees Jasmine Jones and Chelsey Gipson have been nominated to play in the McDonald's All-American game, as announced by the organization this week.

More than 700 high school seniors were nominated to play in the 40th edition of the games, which will take place March 29 at the United Center.

Two of the 22 girls nominees from California, Jones and Gipson are both ranked within the ESPN Hoopgurlz Top 100 and are set to join the Lions for the 2017-18 season.

The final rosters of 24 boys and 24 girls will be revealed at 9:30 p.m. CST on Jan. 15 during the McDonald's All American Games Selection Show on ESPNU.
