Crespo, Juravliova Named Honorable Mention All-WCC

LMU women's tennis earned a pair of honorable mention All-WCC singles selections on Wednesday, as Andrea Crespo and Elvira Juravliova earned the honors.

Crespo played to a 15-12 overall record in 2016, including a 4-4 mark in the West Coast Conference. The native of Valencia, Spain was 10-6 at #3 singles for the Lions.

Juravliova joined the Lion squad at spring semester, and immediately made an impact for the Lions. The native of Moldova went 16-3 overall in singles play, including 5-1 against WCC teams. She played the bulk of her matches at #4 singles, going 14-2 at that position.

The Lions finished the year at 9-13 overall and 3-6 in the WCC, claiming a share of eighth in the WCC standings.
