LOS ANGELES - The Loyola Marymount doubles pair of Ryan Brown and Luke Bohuslav took down Cal Poly SLO and UCLA's duos to make the semifinals of the Southern California Intercollegiate Championships.
The LMU teammates first took down Daniel Cardiff/Karl Enander (Cal Poly SLO), 8-7, to make the quarterfinals. The Lions then topped the Bruin pair of Max Cressy/Austin Rapp, 8-5, to earn a spot in the final four. The USC pair ultimately upended Brown and Bohuslav on their home court, 8-5, in the semis.
Brown earned a singles qualifying win, 6-2, 6-3, after his bye paired him against Hawaii's Fabian Woehrl. LMU also competed in the singles main draw and main draw consolation, but were unable to come out on top in its draws.
