LOS ANGELES - The 20th-ranked LMU men's water polo team returns home to the Burns Aquatics Center this week for a pair of home games. The Lions will host a pair of Western Water Polo Association foes in the final two home games of the 2016 season.
The Lions (8-13, 2-1) return to host Concordia on Thursday, Oct. 27 at 3 pm and then will take on California Baptist on Saturday, Oct. 29 at 12 pm. The game on Thursday is presented by Coca-Cola.

Taking the spotlight on the weekend will be the Lions 2017 graduating class. The game on Saturday will be Senior Day and the Lions will honor Jon Beck, Eric Hernandez, Cory McGee and Riley Smith. Beck is the lone senior and the other three are redshirt juniors who will all graduate this spring. Beck, a captain on this year's squad, leads all Lions having played in 79 games entering the week.
Beck has also become one of the leaders this season in the pool, ranking third on the team in goals with 34 and third on the team in points with 48, adding 14 assists. He also has 12 drawn ejections and 16 steals. McGee has added 22 goals to his resume this season. Beck and McGee have 67 and 63 career goals, respectively.
Smith is having one of his best seasons, setting career-highs in all the statistical categories. He has 16 goals and 12 assists in playing all 21 games so far this season. He is fifth on the team with 21 steals and has added five field blocks, second on the team.
