2016...Played in all 29 games... scored 22 goals with 18 assists... added 26 seals for a total of 40 points on the season...WWPA All-Academic Team
2015... scored three goals in nine games played, adding four assists and three steals... 2014... played in 14 games as a redshirt freshman...
BEFORE LMU... graduated from Santa Margarita Catholic HS in May of 2013 with a 3.77 GPA... was a two-year varsity starter while at Santa Margarita and was named captain in 2012. Riley was named second-team All-Trinity League in 2011 and then first-team in 2012. He went on to earn third-team All-CIF honors following his senior season. He also plays club water polo for SET Water Polo Club.
PERSONAL... Riley Blasé Smith was born on March 17, 1995 in Torrance, Calif., and is the son of Kathlene and Michael Smith... has a sister, Kassandra... parents graduated LMU ('90, '87) and sister plays for the women's water polo team at LMU... a Business Finance major.
