May 21, 2015 2015 WCC All-Academic 
LMU baseball senior Jimmy Jack highlighted a group of five Lions recognized by the West Coast Conference for their academic accomplishments, earning Academic All-WCC honors, it was announced by the conference office on Wednesday. Jack, a Film & TV Production major, carries a 3.75 GPA.
A quartet of Lions also earned a spot on the honorable mention team, including seniors Kevin Glomb (Masters of Education, 3.77 GPA), Brandon Horth (Entrepreneurship, 3.33 GPA) and Colin Welmon (Communication Studies, 3.24 GPA), and sophomore Joe Murray (Political Science, 3.26 GPA). With this selection, Horth earned All-Academic honors for the third straight year.
All told, seven West Coast Conference baseball student-athletes posted a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or better and 17 posted a GPA of 3.50 or better.
At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to his team.
