The LMU sand volleyball season is set to begin on March 6 as the Lions travel to Honolulu, Hawaii for matches against #4 Hawaii and #1 Pepperdine. The Lions enter the year ranked #6 in the nation according to the AVCA, and #5 according to Dig Volleyball Magazine.

LMU finished 10-9 in head-to-head competition in 2014, as the Lions' top pair in Betsi Metter and Litara Keil reached the Final Four and earned All-American honors.

In preparation for the start of the season, LMU Athletics sat down with this year's top pair, Metter and freshman Sarah Sponcil.
