TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The eighth-ranked LMU beach volleyball team earned their highest ranked win of the 2026 season on Friday, topping #5 Florida State, 3-2. The win followed an early morning sweep of Southern Miss.
 
This is the highest-rank win of the season for the Lions, who previously have earned ranked wins over #8 Arizona State, #9 Cal, #11 Long Beach State (twice), #12 LSU, and #14 Stetson.
