The LMU women's tennis team (1-4) will travel to Cal Poly on Saturday for a match against the Mustangs at 1 p.m. The Lions have dropped three straight matches, but all three have been against ranked opponents.

LMU last competed on February 6 against #40 Long Beach State, falling at home for the first time this year. LMU previously squared-off against then-#1 UCLA and #73 UC Irvine on the road, narrowly missing a victory over the Anteaters.

Junior Kristine Kouyoumjian is 2-2 so far in dual matches, including 1-0 at #3 singles. Competing against some of the best players in the nation at #1 singles, sophomore Jessica Perez has played to a 2-3 overall record.

Cal Poly last competed on February 4 as the Mustangs lost to then-#44 Saint Mary's. Senior Hannah Stone outlasted the nation's 123rd-ranked singles player, but the victory counted as the Cal Poly women's tennis team's lone decision as Cal Poly fell, 6-1.

After the match with Cal Poly, LMU will stay on the road for a match at UC Santa Barbara on February 21 at 1 p.m.
