Seniors Lisa Piller and Logan Finnell will serve as the LMU women's tennis team captains as the program celebrates its 40th year in 2014-15.

Up next for the Lions is a matchup against #1 UCLA on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. The Lions (1-1) opened the home portion of the spring schedule with a victory last Thursday, defeating UC Riverside by a score of 6-1 at the LMU Tennis Center. LMU swept all three doubles matches to earn the doubles point before recording victories on five of the six singles courts.

The top-ranked UCLA women's tennis team improved to 2-0 on the season but more importantly earned a place in next month's USTA/ITA National Team Indoor Championships after defeating Kansas State, 4-0 during ITA Kick-Off Weekend at the Los Angeles Tennis Center last Sunday.
