LOS ANGELES -This Friday and Saturday, March 21-22, the women's water polo team will host the 13th Annual ZUMO LMU Invitational at the Burns Aquatics Center. The eight-team, 16-game tournament will feature a top-10 match-up on the first day as the eighth-ranked Lions will take on 10th-ranked Princeton.

Alexandra Honny moved to second all-time in LMU history with 255 goals, scoring 11 last week as to earn Golden Coast Conference Player of the Week honors. Honny has a team-best 48 goals as the Lions host Hartwick at 9:15 am, followed by the Tigers at 4:45 pm. Then on Saturday, they will face Pomona-Pitzer at 11:45 am, then Brown to close the tournament at 4:45 pm.
The tournament is presented by the Lions Athletic Fund with all ticket proceeds going to benefit the women's water polo program. To purchase tickets and to see the full schedule, CLICK HERE.
Tournament action begins at 8 am each day. The Lions enter the tournament at 13-7 overall. Sophomore Ivana Castro is second on the team with 32 goals and Erin Manke leads the team with 26 assists.
