High School... graduated from Warren High School in 2012... eight-time letter winner, winning four in swimming and four in water polo for coach Josie Cordero... was a four-time All-League and four-time All-CIF selection in water polo, earning first-team honors all four seasons... played in more than 120 games in her career, scoring 75 goals in 2011 and 110 in 2012 while leading team in assists and steals all four years of high school... was named MVP all four seasons (2008-12) ... claimed CIF championships in 2011 and 2012... also was swim team MVP in 2010, earning league title in 200-Free and 200-Butter Fly in 2009 and 2010,

Personal... Ivana Alejandra Castro was born in Artesia, Calif., and is the daughter of Maria Torres and Gustavo Castro... volunteered at Williams Elementary School, while also volunteering at the Downey Dolphins and Commerce Swim meets... a Psychology major.
