LOS ANGELES - Sam Fischer's debut with the USA Softball National Team has been memorable. The 2012 LMU graduate hit the game-winning, walk off home run in just her third game in a USA Softball National Team uniform, giving her squad a 1-0 exhibition win over the USA Softball Elite Team. Four days later, in the first televised game she had ever appeared in - on ESPN, no less - she homered again as the USA beat Canada, 9-1, in the Title IX Celebration Game.

Next up for USA Softball is the World Cup of Softball VII presented by Lumber Liquidators, June 27-July 2, in Oklahoma City. Competing countries include the USA, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Netherlands and Puerto Rico. All five USA games, plus the championship game, will be broadcast around the world on ESPN's family of networks, beginning with their opening match-up against Puerto Rico at 6 p.m. (CST) Thursday, June 28.
