LOS ANGELES, Calif. - As the 2013 season approaches, we here at LMULions.com would like to (re)introduce you to some of the baseball players who will be gracing Page Stadium's field this year. We have asked all the players a series of questions that range from why they chose LMU to what they would change their name to if they could. Matt Lowenstein: Played with the Alexandria Beetles

LMU: Why did you choose LMU/What do you like most about LMU?
ML: Great education and great coaching staff.

LMULions.com: Do you have a nickname? Explain the meaning behind it.
ML: Low Low, my friend Big Sulce gave it to me in high school.

LMULions.com: What is your greatest highlight on the field?
ML: #Omaha2013

LMULions.com: After LMU, what do you want to do?
ML: Play baseball for as long as I can

LMULions.com: Do you have any superstitions?
ML: Too many to count

LMULions.com: Do you have any hidden talents?
ML: None that I know of

LMULions.com: What is your favorite baseball team?
ML: Angels

LMULions.com: What is the early favorite for your walk-up song?
ML: How Low by Ludacris

ML: The Sandlot

ML: Have not read a book cover to cover since grade school

ML: Ice Cube

ML: Buy a Chevy Volt and then give the rest to my mom and dad

LMULions.com: If I take a look inside your refrigerator what would I find?
ML: A lot of pasta and enchiladas that my lovely mother made for me

ML: Just enjoy life.

ML: Finding Bigfoot, I have bought in to believing that there are Bigfoots in this world

ML: Bat and batting gloves

ML: I hate spiders

ML: Grandpa and parents

ML: I used to do commercials and tv shows when I was younger.

ML: Some say that I look like Jeremy Burrell with my beard

ML: Not real sure.

ML: Night owl

ML: I love the name my parents gave me.

ML: I was a big fan of Lizzie Mcguire, I was in love with Hilary Duff
