Results

LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The women's tennis team fell to no. 60 UC Irvine this afternoon. After dropping the doubles point, the Lions were unable to come back and earn the overall win in singles. The Lions were highlighted by April Bisharat, who continued to lead the Lions at the number one singles spot, earning her second straight win this afternoon over Byron of Irvine.

In doubles play the Lions were unable to hold of UC Irvine falling on all three courts. Kwan/Holladay defeated Bisharat/Valenzuela of LMU 8-4 on court one. On court two Jin/Morgan fell to Byron/Smith 8-2 and finally on court three, Pironkova/Rohonyi fell 8-1 to Goettsching/Young.

Inn singles play the Lions were once again led by April Bisharat. On the court one, Bisharat earned her second straight win defeating Courtney Byron of UC Irvine 6-2, 6-2. Over the last six matches, Bisharat is now 4-2. In other singles play the Lions fell to Irvine making the match 6-1 overall.
