HOLLISTER, Calif.--Junior Jake Sarnoff, coming off his victory at the Braveheart Classic, currently sits in sixth place overall in the player standings posting another consistent outing after day one of the West Coast Conference Championships at the San Juan Oaks Golf Club, in Hollister, Calif.
As a team, the Lions shot a team score of 606 after the first two rounds to sit in eighth place heading into Tuesday's final round. University of San Francisco sits currently at the top of the leader board with a score of 565, ten strokes in front of second place Pepperdine.
Sarnoff shot par in the first round and one under in the second to give him a two round score of 143.
Sophomores Bryan Bergna and Eduardo Chavez stand in a tie for 30th place after shooting identical rounds of 78 in the first and 76 in the second.
Freshman Tyler Torano sits in a tie for 36th place with Senior John Lim, who also posted a first day total of 158.
